In the summer of 2017, just before the start of the Sacramento Developer Collective’s fourth annual Progressive Game Jam, I thought it was finally going to be my time to give this thing called game development a shot. I am generally an open-minded individual who has a tendency to try new things. Given that I’ve been surrounding myself with the community for the last four years, I thought this could be a fairly smooth transition.
