March 12, 2020: Mass shootings at concerts, schools, churches and stores weren’t enough to shut down those establishments. It took a virus to bring countries to their knees!

By now, in California alone, there have been 4 deaths and 252 people have tested positive for coronavirus according to CalMatters.org.

When I first found out I was pregnant I kept telling myself that me and my baby were going to be okay. In his short two years of life I’ve had to repeat that saying during mass shootings and now a pandemic.

Prior to today I wasn’t paying as close attention to the coronavirus pandemic as I should have been. Little did I know how drastic our lives would change in the weeks to come. Feel free to follow my daily accounts in this portion of my blog.
